Project Scope

Jewel Isle Rum Punch’s CEO reached out with a vision to revamp their outdated e-commerce platform. Specializing in rum-based fruit-flavored cocktails crafted with the finest Caribbean overproof rum and fruit based juices, the brand had untapped potential. Recognizing the need for a fresh online presence to elevate her business, the CEO entrusted me with this exciting project.

Solutions

  • Enhanced Visuals: My initial analysis revealed that the existing website suffered from outdated aesthetics. The images appeared blurry and unprofessional. To address this, I recommended her a professional product photographer who embarked on a visual overhaul, capturing new, high-quality images of the products. 
  • Concise Content: We recognized the need to streamline the content. The existing website featured an abundance of repetitive and lengthy text, which we condensed to provide a more engaging and informative user experience.
  • Harmonious Layout: Achieving a harmonious layout was essential. We revamped the website’s structure to ensure a seamless flow of information and user-friendly navigation.
  • Logo Challenge: Although the existing logo didn’t fully align with the CEO’s vision for the new website, budget constraints required us to adapt. We creatively worked around the original logo, infusing the website with the desired freshness to maintain brand continuity.
  • Dominant Color Scheme: To infuse the site with vibrancy and a Caribbean feel, we introduced a dominant color scheme centered around the warmth and energy of yellow, reminiscent of the Caribbean sun and green for the nature.
  • CTA to the Shop Page: On the homepage, we placed a call to action on the hero header to lead to the shop, while providing engaging and informative content about the brand on the home page.  This strategic design ensures that visitors can seamlessly explore and purchase Jewel Isle Rum Punch’s products.
  • Enhancing the Shopping Experience :The primary objective was to streamline the shopping process, reduce congestion, and provide visitors with a clear, intuitive, and enjoyable shopping experience.
  • Grouping products by flavours: The business owner came up with a brilliant idea to group the products by flavours. We understood that presenting the products in an organized and categorized manner could significantly improve user navigation and decision-making
